Roger Elkhouri, CEC, CE, is an award-winning chef certified by the American Culinary Federation (ACF) as an Executive Chef and Certified Evaluator. Chef Elkhouri has won numerous medals in ACF Culinary Sanctioned Competitions. He holds a culinary degree from the Art Institute of Houston and has worked in the culinary field for over 28 years across restaurants, hotels, country clubs, college food service restaurants, and more.

Chef Elkhouri has taught culinary classes for both professionals and home cooks. At The Abbey, he takes special pride in serving residents — understanding their unique dietary needs and crafting menus that are both nutritious and genuinely delicious. His expertise has earned The Abbey the title of Best Senior Living Dining from the Senior Resource Guide for multiple years running.
